Spartak Bid For Asamoah Gyan

Spartak Moscow have tabled a ?3.5 million bid for Udinese striker Gyan Asamoah. The Ghana international impressed Spartak scouts during the World Cup and after weeks of talks the Russian giants lodged their bid yesterday.

However, Udinese coach Giovanni Galeone is reluctant to lose Asamoah and is urging patron Gianpaolo Pozzo not to sell.
