Praso Secondary wins Zone 2 soccer competition

Twifo Praso Secondary School gained a narrow 1-0 win over Asuansi Technical Institute in their Zone Two) inter schools and colleges soccer competition played at Twifo Praso on Tuesday.

From the onset, Asuansi Technical dictated the pace of the game and came close to scoring twice but their centre forward Kofi Kyei wasted the chances.

Praso Secondary took over the attack in the 30th minute and scored the only goal of the match through inside left, Benjamin Ayim.

On resumption, Asuansi Technical made several efforts to equalize but they could not find the net.

In the volleyball competition, Praso Secondary also defeated Asuansi Technical 2-1. Asuansi Technical however won the table tennis encounter 2-1.
