The Ghana Premier League resumes this weekend as teams are poised to settle for good results for a better position on the table.

Others have their eyes on occupying the top spot. The results will unfold when all the 16 teams meet in what will be an intriguing domestic football weekend.

Great Olympics will welcome Liberty Professionals to the Accra Sports Stadium.

Olympics haven’t lost in their last three meetings against the Dansoman-based club (W2, L0, and D1).

The Agorsu Boys are looking to escape relegation having accumulated 19 points in 18 games and currently lying 15th on the league log.

Bolgatanga All Stars, who lost 2-0 to league leaders WAFA in the first around, invite them to the Tamale Utrecht Park.

WAFA will, however, want to defend the record of being the second team to have gained more points (11) away from home this season after Aduana Stars (13).

After winning comfortably in the first leg, Aduana Stars will visit Tema to face Tema Youth on Sunday.

Three-nil winners in the reverse fixture, Aduana currently lying second on the league log have surprisingly picked up just two points out of nine in their last three away games (D2, L1).

Asante Kotoko have been on a poor run in their last five games after they recorded a win and a loss each and three draws.

They face Wa All Stars who have won three of their last nine encounters against the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Another mouth-watering fixture for Match Day 19 will be at the Golden City Park, where Berekum Chelsea invite Ebusua Dwarfs for a game. Only a point separates both teams and Dwarfs haven’t won at Berekum in their last three visits (L3, D0, and W0).

Bechem United have won all three games against Medeama SC at Bechem and have kept two clean sheets in the process (2:0, 2:1, 3:0).

This weekend will determine whether Medeama will break the jinx at the stadium.

Ashanti Gold, who are currently battling relegation, will welcome Inter Allies who lie 8th on the league log.

The Obuasi team has been impressive in their last five games, nonetheless (W3, D1, and L1).

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium, Elmina Sharks will be looking to upset Hearts of Oak at the Nduom Stadium this weekend when both teams lock horns in what will be a must watch game.
