Otumfuo to dissolve Kotoko board on Friday

Asante Kotoko owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will dissolve the club’s board on Friday, Sportscrusader.com has gathered.

The revered king will call for a meeting of the board of directors of Asante Kotoko at his Manhyia Palace on Friday where he is expected to announce their dissolution.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II will also use the occasion to officially announce ex Ghana defender Samuel Osei Kuffour as the club’s new Executive Chairman.

Kuffour was at the Manhyia Palace over the weekend to meet with the club’s owner in accepting the job offer.

The former Bayern Munich star has been given the powers to form his own board and management to run the club.

General Manager Samuel Opoku Nti is expected to be replaced when the official handing over is made to Samuel Osei Kuffour on Friday.
