Nyantakyi on CAF committees

Accra, Sept. 25, GNA - The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has appointed three Ghanaians to its Standing Committees for the period 2006 to 2010.

Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) will serve on the Organising Committee for the African Cup of Nations while Abedi Pele Ayew, former skipper of the Black Stars has been appointed to the Football Committee.

Mr Wolanyo K. Agrah, former General Secretary of the GFA is to serve on the Committee for Legal Affairs and Player Status.

Mr Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the GFA in a statement copied to the GNA Sports said, Lepowura Alhaji Nurudeen Jawula and Ben Koufie, both former members of the GFA, have maintained their positions on the Organizing Committee for Inter-Clubs competitions and Technical and Development Committees respectively. 25 Sept. 06
