Struggling Inter Allies eased off the pressure with a smooth 2-0 win over Wa All Stars at the Tema Park in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.

Midfielder Enoch Adu opened the scoring before Gockel Ahortor sealed the win for the Eleven Is To One.

Inter Allies went ahead when Enoch Adu hit the opener for the side with an exquisite first-half finish at the Tema Park.

Allies had dominated proceedings, employing their familiarity with the AstroTurf to twist and turn the game to their own whims and caprices.

All Stars fought hard, knowing a win for Hearts against AshantiGold could leave their title ambitions in danger.

But Allies looked hungrier as they constantly bombarded the area with a barrage of attacks. Adu's goal upped the ante and pressed for more goals.

But the Upper West side defended steadily.

Striker Gockel Ahortor wrapped up the win for Allies with a clinical finish in the second-half of the game.
