The home-based Black Stars lashed Ghana Premier League side Tema Youth by 3-1 in a friendly played at the team’s camping base in Prampram.

Three goals in the second half, each from Eric Owusu, Stephen Sarfo and Thomas Abbey cancelled the first half lead by the Tema-based to give the Black Stars B comfortable win.

Tema Youth broke the virginity of the game in the 25th minute when goalkeeper Stephen Kwaku failed to grab a powerful drive from midfielder James Akaminko.

But the Star restored parity few minutes after the break with a well-rehearsed strike from right back Eric Owusu.

Stephen Sarfo increased the tally for the Black Stars B when he intelligently curled the ball to the top right corner of the Tema Youth post.

Just as the game appeared ending with the 2-1 score line, in-form Hearts of Oak skipper Thomas Abbey took on three defenders on the left flank, sent them inside out and speedily slotted the ball with an excellent volley to complete a 3-1 lashing of the harbor boys.

The game forms part of preparations ahead of the side’s CHAN Qualifier with the Local Stallions o Burkina Faso.
