Locals receive Sannie's praise

The Deputy General Secretary responsible for Communications of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Daara has described the performance of GLO Premiere League players at the Stars’ camp as “fantastic”.
“As you can see, all the goals scored by today’s training match were scored by the local players which shows that they are also eager to get a place in the team and we are happy with their service” he told Finder Sports in an interview.
Sannie however added that no place will be reserved for any player on the basis of the player being a local player or a foreign player.
Sannie was speaking to the Finder Sports after the Black Stars training match against Prampram United last Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium; a match the Stars won by 3 goals to zero.
The match saw Solomon Mensah, Richard Kissi and Ben Acheampong, all local players, scoring for the Black Stars.
