Ghana Premier League giant Hearts of Oak have emerged favourites to sign former Medeama SC coach Tom Strand.
Source close to sportworldghana.com has revealed that the Phobians have reached an advance stage with the Swedish national and could jet into the country to finalize the deal.
Hearts of Oak have are on the lookout for a substantive coach after the exit of Portuguese Sergio Traguil with Henry Wellington manning the affairs of the team hence Strand’s appointment would come as a boost to team.
Strand established himself with Medeama SC, guiding them to 2015 FA glory and consequently leading the Tarkwa charges to the group stages of the Confederation Cup before exiting the club in an unfriendly manner.
The 35-year-old had a brief stints with premiership side Bechem United and Academy side Golden Boot before leaving for Tarkwa.
