Hasaacas draw 0-0 with Power F/C in Sekondi

Sekondi May 23, GNA - Sekondi Hasaacas drew 0-0 with visiting Power in a Kinapharma Premier league match at Sekondi Gyandu Park on Sunday. Hasaacas, taking advantage of their home support opened their attack after kick-off moving into the goal area of Power F/C in a slow and tactical manner.

The visitors realising the danger ahead, organised themselves and packed their defence to ward off any attempt at goal.

Undaunted by this move, Hasaacas swung back into action and managed to displace the defence of their opponents but could not find the net. They earned a corner kick in the 27th minute in the process, but outside right the defence of Power F/C repulsed Oblitey Mensah's kick. Hasaacas followed up with an attempt at goal but Anthony Annan's shot in the 30th minute was saved by Cudjo Addo in goal for Power F/C.

Other scoring chances that followed were poorly utilised by the attackers of Hasaacas with Power F/C fighting back but failing to cause any upsets before the end of the first half.

Back from recess, Power F/C began attacking fiercely putting Hasaacas on the defensive but the homesters managed to turn the tide in their favour and renewed their attack that failed to fetch them a goal. The match gathered momentum in the 75th minute and became a ding-dong affair as both teams failed to carry the day until the referee brought proceeding to an end.
