Hans Nunoo Sarpei and team-mates celebrate Bundesliga qualification

Ghana’s Hans Nunoo Sarpei and team-mates at Stuttgart went on victory parade on Sunday evening after winning the Bundesliga II title and also sealing a qualification back into the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart sealed the Bundesliga II title on final day (Sunday) after thrashing Würzburger Kickers 4-1.

The former EUFA Champions League campaigners went top of the Bundesliga II log sheet with 69 points as against Hannover’s 67 points.

More than 50,000 cheering supporters lined the streets of Stuttgart Cannsttater Wasen for the team’s open-top bus victory parade.

It was a proud moment for two Ghanaian players – Hans Nunoo Sarpei and Ebenezer Ofori.
