Ghana coach Avram Grant is expected to make at least one change in his starting line-up to face Comoros in the second leg of their 2018 World Cup qualifier in Kumasi later today.

The 60-year-old, who took over the Black Stars nearly one year ago, is expected to return his captain Asamoah Gyan to the starting line-up after being benched in the first-leg played in Moroni four days ago.

Gyan is set to start the game after participating and completing three training sessions since they played the match in the Indian Ocean country.

This means that striker Abdul Majeed Waris will make way for Gyan as the France-based attacker is considered the substitute for the China-based player.

This comes after Gyan recovered from a thigh problem that prevented him from starting the game in Moroni but made the desired impact when he came on as a substitute in the game.

The midfield pair of Mubarak Wakaso and Afriyie Acquah looked tired and in-form Udinese midfielder Emanuel Agyemang Badu might fancy a starting place in the game.

The Black Stars are expected to put up an improved performance to see of the challenge of the Comoros who have proved stubborn in their last two qualification games against Lesotho and the Stars.
