Ghana08: Only one Ghanaian referee

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected thirty-two referees to conduct the matches in the 26th edition of the finals of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) football, to be held from January 20 to February 10, 2008 in Ghana ,

The "men in black" are divided into two categories: 16 referees and 16 referees assistants.

First, officiating on the ground, direct matches, while the latter assist from the sidelines.

These thirty-two referees involved, since Tuesday, at a workshop in Accra, Ghana, which will end next Monday. Below is the name of the center men

4 - Damon Jérôme (South Africa)

5 - Evehe Divine (Cameroon)

6 - Modou Sowe (Gambia)

8 - Koman Coulibaly (Mali)

9 - Benouza Mohamed (Algéria)

10 - Diatta Badara (Sénégal)

11 - Ssengoga Mohamed (Uganda)

12 - Djouapé Kokou (Togo)

13 - Imiere Emmanuel (Nigeria)

14 - Louzaya René (Congo)

15 - Kotey Alex (Ghana)

16 - Aboubacar Sharraf (Côte d’Ivoire)
