FA capo happy with Chelsea talks

The president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, has described the FA?s meeting with officials of English Premiership side, Chelsea, as very fruitful.

Nyantakyi, who met with Chelsea in London on his way to Dallas for Ghana?s international friendly with Mexico, said the GFA is convinced that Michael Essien?s injury ahead of the African Nations Cup was genuine.

He told the BBC that Chelsea produced documented evidence of the injury, clearing any doubt about the genuineness of the injury.

Nyantakyi further disclosed that the FA has yet to take a firm decision on the future of Black Stars coach, Ratomir Dujkovic.

With barely three months to the tournament, Nyantakyi says Dujkovic has not been given the all-clear to lead the Black Stars to the World Cup finals.

The FA boss believes that the Mexico friendly tomorrow would be critical to any decision on the Serbian?s future ahead of the World Cup.

?I?m expecting to see an enhanced and improved performance from the team.

?The results of the match may not be very, very important, so I see the match as a test match for to try our strategies following the abysmal performance at the African Cup of Nations.? Nyantakyi said.
