Techiman City Bankroller Charles Kwadwo Ntim (Mickey Charles) insists, his sides’ demotion to the 2nd division won`t affect their preparations for the upcoming season.

With less than a month for the start of the Ghana Premier League, Techiman City and Wa African United have been relegated to the second division of Ghana football after being found guilty of match-fixing.

The ambition of Techiman City was quashed after they were demoted to the second division though they were given the go-ahead to start to prepare for their debut season of the league but the bankroller believes they are still on cause and the demotion won`t hinder their preparations.

“the demotion will never hinder our preparations, our preparations remains the same from day 1, nothing has changed, we will continue preparing till 20th of February”, he told Enoch Worlanyo Wallace on Asempa fm.

The new Premier League season will start next month after nearly four months of delay and all the teams are massively preparing for the upcoming season.
