Berekum Chelsea lose duo for cameroon tie

Berekum Chelsea will miss the services of defender Ahmed Adams and midfielder Yaw Alexander against Cameroonian side Cotonsport Garoua in the CAF Champions League.

Adams, a centre-back, is reported to have suffered a knock during the final round qualifier first leg tie played at the Golden City Park a fortnight ago.

Midfielder Alexander picked up a groin injury during the same match and has since not been able to recover.

"We are still camping and doing a lot of preparations but it is unfortunate that we'll miss Ahmed Adams and Yaw Alexander," Chelsea deputy coach Annor Walker told Sunyani-based Storm FM

"But in their place we have Joseph (Ato Bisah) and Owusu Jackson who can equally do the job."

Attacker Wahab Yahaya and captain Abdul Basit who missed the first leg have returned from injury and suspension.

The Ghanaian side have faint hopes of making it to the money zone of the competition after the first leg ended 0-0 in Berekum.
