Appiah Considering England

Juventus midfielder Stephan Appiah is reportedly considering playing his football in England next season.

The Black Stars skipper is believed to be unhappy with the Bianconeri after failing to secure regular football this season.

Appiah is contracted to the Serie A giants until the summer of 2008, but does not feature in the club's plans.

With coach Fabio Capello favouring others in the middle of the park, the former Brescia star is mulling over his next move.

Fiorentina and Bologna were running the rule over the 24-year-old last month, with English side Newcastle, Portsmouth and Everton now in the frame for the ?5 million (?3.5 million) rated ace.

Meanwhile Appiah?s club, Juventus are reported to have offered midfielder Stephen Appiah to Atletico Madrid.

Juve directors took advantage of their visit to Spain for this week's Champions League clash with Real Madrid to hold talks with Atletico over the Ghanaian international.

The 20 year-old was offered to Atletico in part-exchange for defender Pablo Ibanez.

However, the Spanish club insist Pablo is not for sale and would prefer to negotiate a stand-alone deal for Appiah.
