Addo dares BabyJet to make Tagoe fight

The quest by US based Ghanaian boxer, Emmanuel Addo to silence hot local favourite, Emmanuel Tagoe alias Game Boy has taken a bigger twist with Addo, nicknamed Money Mosquito daring the wrath of football star, Asamoah Gyan whose BabyJet Promotions manage Tagoe.

Addo (14-1, 8 KOs) has persistently asked to face and ‘discipline’ Tagoe (20-1, 8 KOs) even long before Game Boy beat George Ashie to claim the WBC International Lightweight belt last November. Money Mosquito came down to Ghana from the US earlier this month to show how serious he is about fighting Tagoe.

Addo says Tagoe and his camp are running away from making the fight a reality and has dared Asamoah Gyan to make the fight happen hitting the Black Stars captain hard with claims the Al Ain striker failed Ghana at AFCON 2013. “I came back from the America just because of Asamoah Gyan’s boxer but he and his boxer are afraid so they don’t want the fight to happen. He let Ghana down with the Black Stars at the (AFCON) tournament, missing some chances one-on-one with the keeper. Where was the leadership? He shouldn’t bring that into boxing and just allow me to fight his boxer,” Addo told www.sportsinghana.com in Accra. Money Mosquito added: “If Game Boy wants to really be a champion in America, then he must be tested. It’s not that I envy Tagoe but his style of boxing cannot win him any fight in America. If Asamoah Gyan really wants to test his boxer, then they should just give me a chance to fight him.”

He continued: “Tagoe himself knows he can’t stand me that’s why he’s running away from me. I’m back for real, even if it’s 6 rounds, 8 rounds or ten rounds they want it, let’s just fight. I don’t care. I don’t want his title, I just want to fight him. I’m ready”
