The father did the same thing to undermine Akwasi Appiah and sabotage him when Appiah was the Captain for the Blackstars.When the oldest son played for Kotoko a few years ago he openly wished the team to lose matches that he wasn't picked to start.And when he was cut from the team his behavior sealed any chances of having a good relationship with the team.Look at the way Jordan was acting after the match with Ethiopia,as if we lost,all because soemone else was the toast of town that day.The Ayews have always put themselves above national objectives.Most of the players who played with Abedi Pele on the national team are on bad terms with him.Most of the players who played with Rahim at Kotoko do not talk to him.The players who played with Dede and Jordan at the junior level will have nothing to do with them.And they have brought this to the senior national team.WE ARE NOT GOING TO SHOVE GYAN ASIDE SO THAT DEDE CAN ENGAGE IN SELF GRADEURIZATION AT THE NATION'S EXPENSE.In the future Dede will find out that without the support of his team mates and our support his captainship will be very empty.

When somebody DESERVES respect, status symbols are meaningless.

In this disease-infested, illiterate-populated, gullible, pliable collection of villages called a country, where hungry, so-called newsmen are always looking to incite animus so they can sell something to be able to afford food, trash talk is not likely to end anytime soon.

If prophets and newsmen cannot use their heads to say the right things that promote unity, Government must step in to protect the people, most of whom cannot think for themselves.

Goal.com just published contradictory statement here; "“I cannot call Andre and say Andre, let’s go to the bar or let’s go here; he’s also got his people." and then another: "“Even when I was in Dubai, Andre came with his club for pre-season, he called me, we met and we went out, we ate, and he went back to camp." So why are some of our media houses or journalists bent on causing animosity, hatred and divisions within the Black Stars camp?

Adherence to wise tactics, individual skills with strong physical and mental stamina play a vastly more important role in winning a match or tournament. Asamoah Gyan being the older of the two has rightly been made the captain and should remain until he loses favor with his appointee or a sizeable portion of the Ghanaian football populace. As things currently stand in our world cup campaign, we stand perilously close to nonqualification if we don't get our act together!

Their father was involved in a tussle for the captainship with Kwesi Appiah. Abedi Pele threatened not to play if he was not handed the Captain's armband when Kwesi Appiah was already the Captain.
In a Germany Ghana friendly in Germany Abedi Ayew was late and Tony Yeboah was chosen as the Captain. When Abedi Ayew arrived he will not play until the Captain's armband was taken from Tony Yeboah and handed to him.
It was Abedi Ayew's constant nagging and selfish attitude that caused the Black Stars the African Cup in 1992. The Black Stars of that era was a very formidable side but pettiness from especially Abedi Ayew caused the team failures instead of success. The German national team coach said if he had Tony Yeboah and Abedi Ayew in his team he will win the World Cup. I can go on and on. Enough of the Ayews. They're a great football family but regardless of their talents Ghana football is always better off without them because of their negative selfish attitude.
