The Togolese Football Federation are tracking FC Nordsjaelland striker Godsway Donyoh after realizing the talented forward can play for the Hawks through his lineage.

Donyoh, 22, was born to Ghanaian and Togolese parents and is eligible to represent the Hawks of Togo.

Togo boss, Claude Le Roy is said to have watched videos of Donyoh and he is convinced that the former Manchester City striker is the right player to step in the shoes of Emmanuel Adebayor.

“We have information that Godsway Donyoh holds dual nationality and we will like to have him play for the national team of Togo,” A close source to the Togolese FA told Footballmadeinghana.com

“Claude Le Roy has watched his videos and he is very much impressed with him. He sees him as direct heir to Emmanuel Adebayor. We will contact Donyoh officially and reveal our plans to him if he will feature for us,”

Donyoh was one of the players invited by Coach Kwesi Appiah for the Black Stars game with Ethiopia but his club did not release him.

The budding talent has netted ten goals and provided five assists in 28 games this season.
