This is no Azaa. I heard his love for teachers in 1989 at ABUSCO where I was teaching. That was the first time I saw him. I was living in Paa Willie's house where he had come on a visit. When he was informed that the two occupants of the mansion were teachers, he was so happy, went to his car and brought us some goods. It was then that he mentioned that he respects and admires teachers because they have made him what he is. His love for teachers cannot be disputed. Well probably he taught a bit. I hope he can better the situation of teachers.
Adomako, some of you have just hatred for Akuffo Addo. Why don't we try him too and hold him on his promises instead of writing him off.

Hmmm! I guess Prez NADAA isn't the first president to pledge to improve the working conditions and services of teachers and the whole gamut of the Ghana Education Service. But must we doubt him given the historical antecedents? Well , giving the circumstances, we can only hope that he redeems and fulfils these alleged promises. Who will doubt that a BOLD and COMPREHENSIVE attack on agriculture, given a great yield, would blaze the trail to our industrialisation, and thereby, our growth and consequently, that dev't we so much desire. If Prez NADAA succeeds, all of us would be blessed, but if he fails, we will be worse off; while he and his appointees would have nothing to lose. So, it becomes almost a duty to wish him well, whether you like him or not. May Jehovah God bless the Government and Ghana.

I have confidence in you, Mr. President. However, there are no specific programs and projects stated intended to improve livelihood of teachers...
Mr. President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, what are some of the laid down programs and projects that would be implemented to improve the living conditions of teachers?
I pray that your promise to improve the living conditions of teachers does add up to lip service of other past presidents. Thank you.
