Victor Smith Warns NRC Of Boom

The Special Aide to former President Rawlings, Mr. Victor Smith, has asked the NRC to be circumspect about the treatment to be handed to his boss as he makes an appearance at the Commission this morning.

Speaking on Accra based UNIIQ FM yesterday, Mr. Smith asked the NRC to desist from giving any orders to ex-President Rawlings, when he shows up before the commission today.

According to Smith, Mr. Rawlings should be treated as a former President and not an ordinary person.

He also condemned the incident where the former Attorney-General, Dr. Obed Asamoah was ordered to ?sit down? and added that such actions depict a sign of bias on the part of the NRC.

In a reaction, the Executive Secretary of the NRC, Dr. Ken Attafuah, noted that Mr. Rawlings would only be given the necessary treatment if he abides by the rules of the Commission.
