Group for Afoko cautions NPP over impeachment

A youth group loyal to the embattled National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, has called on the party to desist from moves to kick Paul Afoko and the General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong out of office or face their wrath.

According to the group, which claims to have over 5000 members across the country, any move to kick the two National Officers out of office will be met with serious opposition as they would not hesitate to quit the party.

The group added, Afoko has suffered enough in the hands of his detractors and has been prevented from operating as Chairman of the party since his election.

The group has since cautioned the party to be careful how they treat Afoko and the party's general secretary.

They also called on the police to investigate the Nasara Coordinator of the NPP, Kamara Deen over his claims that he advised the late upper East regional chairman Adams Mahama to be mindful of his security.

They are of the fervent believe that per Deen’s assertion, he seems to know something about the death of the late Upper East chairman.
