I wouldn't mind if this article is a an opinion piece and put in the column but to present this nonsense as the underlying cause of the load shedding in the news session is not good enough, Ghanaweb. This is the kind of thoughtless analysis which leads to the utility price increases all the time. How can you say a Government debt is the cause of load shedding? We have demand shooting up in some areas in the country where the local generation there is struggling to match. You can't bring wires from Nedco in the north to come and supply in the south. Does this writer know that Aboazde is operating at half of its capacity because one of the plants was not pyt to shape in readiness of the Gas from Atuabo? Stop this ignorance

Your conclusion is as worse as the dumsor, you made mention of debts owed ECGand VRA, why didn't you add that the failure on the part of government caused the problem and that if government pays it's debt, this could have stemmed the problem? The minister of energy is sensitising the public on increments in tarrifs, which would further have deleterious effect on consumers because there are already indications that money collected from consumers is very put to good use.

"Private legal practitioner, Samson Lardy Anyenini late last year brought a suit on behalf of the leaders and against the Chieftaincy Minister whom they alleged had supported one Osofo to mistreat them using national security.

The Osofo was named in the suit as claiming right to the symbolic stool and skin created by the national house of chiefs to reintegrate disaporians.

Samson says that suit was withdrawn earlier this year after the Attorney-General (A-G) called for an amicable settlement."
The question is if the government has declared the status of the US citizens as an illegality, why did the Attorney General beg that the issue should be withdrawn from court. The answer is simple. Withdraw the case, kill the Afro Americans and case die.

How can people engage in this type of nonsensical but tribal politics in such manner ? My childish question to all those who have tagged themselves with that political group(Nonsensical People's Party) who avowed themselves with all the vices that occurs in the county is: what happen to their God -given senses that could have been used to bring ideas as to how to collectively find a panacea to the power shortages and other problems of our beloved nation ? Let them spare us their wasted time and energy so we can borrow them a little sense to work with-to whom the the hat fits, let them wear it.

I therefore conducted a web search for the author in order to come to some understanding of her position in the article. You can all try it. The string "Linda Abrafi Wadi" produces 1 hit on Google which links to an article ie this article. Does the author exist at all? Who put together this interesting piece that seeks to suggest that the electricity crisis is all but resolved? Over to you Ghanaweb!
