Juventus in a pole position to sign Mensah

Juventus are in a pole position to sign Ghanaian striker Bernard Mensah from Vitoria Guimaraes in bid to build another pool of talented players for the future.

Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal talks between the agent of Mensah and the Old Lady are at an advanced stage and it is likely the former Gomoah Fetteh Feyenoord Academy player will sign for the Turin club in the summer.

Goal can also confirm the Italian champions have already alerted the Ghanaian and his agent he could be loaned to Sassuolo for a season or two to boost his confidence as he earns more play time.

Mensah, who is also on the books of Monaco, Porto, Atalanta and Sampdoria, has scored four times for Guimaraes this season in the Portuguese top flight.

The 20-year-old, who is still under contract at Vitoria Guimaraes, is valued at four million Euros.
