Standards high: Nino rocked @ 2014 BEFFTA

Ghanaian opera singer, Nino performed to a standing ovation at the 2014 edition of Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA) Awards in the UK.

The 6th BEFFTA award was scheduled for yesterday October 24 and today October 25 at The Hippodrome.

Stars from US, Africa, Canada, UK the Caribbean and the rest of Europe turned up in large number.

BEFFTA awards honours and celebrates talented personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.

Nino as expected thrilled the award’s audiences and made his home country-Ghana proud.

Nino recently performed his rendition of Nessun Dorma, an aria from Giacomo Puccini’s opera Turandot on BBC’s Focus on Africa programme and gradually engaging himself to new audiences.
