Duncan to snub Olympics over job interference

Footy-ghana.com understands that former Hearts of Oak head coach David Duncan will snub the chance to coach newly promoted Great Olympics over what our sources term as alleged interference in his work.

Footy-ghana.com sources reveal that the club signed seven players from first division outfit Tema Youth against Duncan’s wishes and in addition, the club’s hierarchy has told him to use the players he has available.

Our sources further reveal that Duncan is not satisfied with the output of majority of the players who helped guide the club back into Ghana’s top flight, with suggestions that only four of the existing players meet his specifications.

Footy-ghana.com also understands that the ex-Ashanti Gold and Hasaacas boss is not enamoured with new signing Ekow Benson, one of the players signed without his output.

Our sources also reveal that the club will not support Duncan with regards to players he wants to bring in now and only a last minute radical change in stance on the side of both parties would see Duncan put pen to paper on a two-year deal on offer.
