NDC prefer Akufo-Addo to Alan - Kofi Adams

The NPP's Super Delegates Congress is intended to prune down the number of qualified flagbearer aspirants from seven [7] to five [5] on Sunday, 31st August, 2014.

But the Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress [NDC], Kofi Adams has vehemently appealed to the members of the elephant fraternity, thus, the delegates to vote massively for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to lead the party again for the third-time as presidential candidate.

According to him, any attempt by the NPP to change their former flagbearer will be a calamity and burden for the NDC in the 2016 presidential polls.

The aspiring National Organizer of the NDC admitted that Nana Addo “is very hard to defeat” but “it is our [NDC] wish to battle Nana Addo again in 2016."

Speaking on Adom FM, Thursday, Kofi Adams confessed publicly that, Nana Addo’s strong contender in the flagbearership contest, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremateng is a “danger” to the NDC.

“NDC wants Nana Addo. If they [NPP delegates] vote for Alan Kyeremateng, it will be a big problem for us,” he disclosed.

Adding that; “We are appealing to NPP to vote for Nana or we [the NDC] are dead."

Kofi Adams however revealed that “We [NDC] have prayer warriors purposely to pray for the reinstatement of Nana Addo as NPP leader in 2016.”
