Aspiring flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan Kyeremateng says he is the best person to recapture power for the party in 2016.
According to him, he is well positioned to attract floating voters to enable the party win the 2016 election if elected flagbearer of the party.
Mr. Kyerematen made the comment in an exclusive interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Wednesday.
The twice-defeated presidential hopeful believes it is about time NPP delegates give him the chance to prove his wealth in the face of the worsening socio-economic conditions in the country.
Alan Kyerematen dispelled the notion that he only shows interest in party activities when it is time for flagbearership elections.
He described it as mere propaganda by his opponents intended to mar his campaign for the high office in the party.
Mr. Kyerematen maintained noted that Ghana needs a leader who can combine vision with action and “I believe I have the track record to turn things around."
“All those contesting have their qualities but we are talking about situational leadership and I know can make a difference."
