It is unforunate that the chiefs and people of Bimbilla did not learn any lessons from the Dagbon crisis and went ahead to emulate the very things that worsoned the Dagbon crisis. My humble suggestion is that, the first chief who is also in the mogue should be buried the same day as the latterto put the matter to rest. Or Government and the security will find it very, very, though to resolve the impasse as in the case of Dagbong. A word to the wise they say is in the north.

Can someone help explain this to me. There was already curfew in the area with security presence prior to the shooting. Common sense would tell you that the chief's palace will be one strategic area to protect by armed security personnel. Then how come these people were able to penetrate the security, kill the chief plus others and escaped. You don't need to be a security expert to know that in this specific case there is a conspiracy. This avoidable incident clearly point to the growing failure of public institutions to guarantee rule of law and public safety. Hmmmm.... let us not deceive ourselves by what we are told. God save us from these faceless conflict profiteers.
