Arthur K: Tell Akufo-Addo i wish him a happy 2014 if...

What would be your wish for the person believed to be behind your spell of bad fortune? As Christians, it should definitely not be something evil because Matthew 5:44 states that, "But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”.

Perhaps, it is for this reason Dr. Kobina Arthur Kennedy has wished his former boss, Nana Akufo-Addo, for whom he (Dr. Arthur Kennedy) claims he is being vilified by fellow New Patriotic Party members, a Merry Christmas.

“...tell him (Nana Addo) that Arthur Kennedy says I wish him a Merry Christmas. I wish him a happy 2014. I wish that God would grant him all his wishes, provided they are good,” he stated on NEAT FM.

Speaking from his base in North Carolina in the United States of America, Dr. Arthur Kennedy, during a telephone interview in reaction to assertions by the Executive Director of the Danquah Institute (DI), Mustapha Hamid, that Nana Addo cannot be blamed for not calling party faithfuls who vilify leading members to order.

According Dr. Arthur Kennedy, all the attack is being done in defense of the 2008, 2012 presidential candidate of the NPP and therefore he (Nana Addo) should exhibit moral leadership by stopping his supporters from attempting to suppress dissenting views.

However, Mustapha Hamid countered that Nana Addo cannot be held responsible for the utterances of all party members except those he had sanctioned to speak on his behalf.

But at the tail end of the interview, when the host of ‘Me Man Nti’, Adakabre Frimpong Manso revealed to Dr. Arthur Kennedy he would be visiting the United Kingdom this Christmas and would definitely pay a courtesy call on Nana Akufo-Addo, whom he has been chastising for not doing enough to stop party infighting, the Medical Doctor desired God’s blessings for his former boss and wished that all his plans and aspirations come to pass, “provided they are good,” he added.
