Don’t send us rubbish communicators – Fifi Banson tells NDC

Popular radio presenter is pleading with a deputy minister for Information and Media Relations Felix Kwakye Ofosu to stop send "rubbish" communicators to represent the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) on Peace FM.

Fifi Banso called out Edem Dela and Samuel George Nettey known as Sam George as some of the communicators with doubtful intellectual ability.

It is unclear what exactly caused the popular entertainer's outburst but Sam George appeared on Peace FM's Kokrokoo Wednesday and reportedly made comparisons between Nelson Mandela and Kwame Nkrumah deemed unpleasant.

Referring to Sam George, Fifi Banson said "his argument today was shameful".

Government communication team members are routinely distributed to various radio stations in Accra. The team is chaired by the Minister for Information or his deputies, Murtala Mohammed and Felix Kwakye Ofosu.

"Please don't push any rubbish to us", the 2011 Most Entertaining Radio Broadcast Personality of the year kept insisting.

He is recommending Sam Pee Yalley as a more fitting representative for the party.

He said some of the arguments made by some NDC communicators made him " feel embarrassed to have NDC friends".

He called on the NDC communicators to be "a bit more discerning" on radio and warned, the station can decide which politician to feature on their political shows.
