And these people in the so-called tripartite committee are very probably people who have been educated with the tax-payers money up to university level. Do they have any sense at all in their heads? GHc5.24 is not even enough for sachet water expenses for a small household in Ghana.
On the day of reckoning those members of the tripartite committee will also get their fair share of disrespect and punishment that they are giving the people of Ghana.
If Ghanaian workers were not so stupid and cowardly themselves, they should demand that their salaries be determined by those menopausal women who have been doling out the resources of the state lavishly to those non-performing MPs, Ministers and ex-Presidents of state.
The amount is so disgraceful that I wish they had rather kept it secret and away from the prying eyes of the foreign press. Whhaaaaaaat!
I also hope that those who have made it a habit of voting for such people to come and show such insolence and contempt to them when they get power from their votes, will now begin to think and advise themselves.
And I am sure that the govt would not even have raised it to this level but for the fact that it is just about the approximate amount of the UN prescribed minimum wage or poverty level. Well what can I say. Ghana workers over to you.

Go figure and devise your minimum wage earner budget.
That means you were cheating your laborers - A Ghanaian worse than a Lebanese or expatriate employer. It is a well known that Ghanaian employers are mean, stingy and far more oppressive than foreign employers.

What is Biometrics?
"Biometrics" means "life measurement" but the term is usually associated with the use of unique physiological characteristics to identify an individual. The application which most people associate with biometrics is security. However, biometrics identification has eventually a much broader relevance as computer interface becomes more natural. Knowing the person with whom you are conversing is an important part of human interaction and one expects computers of the future to have the same capabilities.
A number of biometric traits have been developed and are used to authenticate the person's identity. The idea is to use the special characteristics of a person to identify him. By using special characteristics we mean the using the features such as face, iris, fingerprint, signature etc.

Why didn't they simply say that the minimum wage is 65 pesewas per hour so we can revolt massively. Is one to believe that it used to be 50 pesewas an hour?
