My people are not those Asantes in whose wives can be raped and their crops crazed with impunity by Fulani herdsmen. The Dagartis don't give a foko when it comes to such things. If you think it is "real sad and very bad..." call the Fulani to rape your daughter, rape your wife, aunt, and nice; let them set their cattle to craze on your green maize farm which you have borrowed money from the banks to invest in; let them after this still your rams and ewes, and when your sons complain they stab them one by one in the dark. If you want them please go to Agogo and take a bus full of Fulanis to Agentina, Northern England ko-mininie! My foot! As for us we can herd our own cattle and we want no Fulani. Those who come to live with us must respect our values and not rape our girls and women. It is a taboo for my people to have any sexual contacts with Fulanis. We live next door to them in Burkina Faso and they know that we not rape their women and we don't inter-marry. It is therefore a sacrilege for a Fulani to rape our women.It is better when they steal our cattle. We need to carry out an investgation and find out the truth behind this sad situation. As a native of the area I grew up seeing fulanis in good relationship with my people in the upper west. They took care of my parent's cattle in return for protection , some commission, and free revenue from the sales of milk from the cattle. Later on some bad nuts infilterated the fulani community and created distrust. All the same, there are still good and worthy fulanis around Han, Jefisi, Busie and Wa area. These fulanis have been charged with the responsibility of exposing bad fulanis to the local chiefs. The people around Jirapa and Gbari do not use fulanis for some religious reasons. Let us wait for the out come of the investigation. Not all Fulanis are bad;it is bad communication that creates hatred. Some Fulanis have been in the area for ceturies and have become part of the people and are law abiding. The new fulanis crossing the borders are animals and I would not hesitate beheading those beasts. let us not rush and mix the beans with the stones until the facts come out.
