University Of Ghana Releases New Fees

The University of Ghana has announced new fees for the 2002/2003 academic year. The fees range between over 700,000 cedis and 1.2 million cedis. For fresh students reading humanities, those in residence would pay ?1,017,500 while non-residents will pay ?867, 500. Resident freshmen pursuing Science and Agricultural Science would pay ?1,178,500 with the non-residents paying ?1,028, 500.

A notice from the university registrar stated that continuing resident Humanities students would pay ?897,500 while continuing non-resident Humanities students pay ?747,500.

Continuing resident students studying Science and Agricultural Science would pay ?1,058,500 while their non-resident colleagues would pay ?980,500. Medical and Dental students in residence would pay ?1,277,000 while their non-resident colleagues would pay ?1,127,000.
