Nana Addo’s daughters should die for him- Ex-FONKAR boss

Ex- National Coordinator of Friends of Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings (FONKAR) is questioning the Presidential candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo whether he will deploy any of his five daughters as militants to the forefront of tomorrow’s elections.

Emmanuel Saint Osei wants to know where Nana Addo’s daughters are as we inch closer to his “all-die-be-die” election which is only some hours away.

He warned the NPP thugs who will be deployed with guns, machetes and other offensive weapons to foment trouble at tomorrow’s elections to make Nana Addo, fulfilled a lifelong ambition of president, to think twice about the venture as there are no rewards for them in death, adding “Nana’s children must lead the way for others to follow. Innocent people must not die whiles his are intact”.

Mr Osei observed that if Nana Addo was not ready to send his four biological daughters and his stepdaughter to die for him, those picking up weapons must think again because there is prize in the NPP flag bearer’s “all-die-be-die” since the girls who stand to enjoy more as first daughters of the Republic of Ghana, are in hiding.

To the ex-FONKAR national coordinator, Nana Addo’s “all-die-be-die” statement in his home capital Koforidua, in the Eastern Region, is evil and must be ignored by all right thinking Ghanaians, especially the youth, adding “Parents must also talk to their children not to die for a desperate politician.”

Several civil society groups and political parties, especially the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have condemned Nana Addo’s statement and asked that he retract to ensure peace in tomorrow’s elections, but Nana Addo has refused to do so on several privileged platforms, saying the mantra is for vigilance.

Mr Osei, once an ardent critic of the NDC, told The Herald yesterday that since Nana Addo has failed to heed to several calls to retract the violence mantra, he is inquiring if he would permit his daughters to be in the lead on Friday to execute the agenda.

To him, Nana Addo will come across as a very sincere man if he allows his children, who were seen on the campaign platform at Odododiodio with him, to serve the NPP by leading the attack in tomorrow row’s elections, for the NPP.

Citing attacks on supporters of the NDC at the Okyenhene palace in Kyebi, and Ashtown in Kumasi where two NDC supporters were shot by supporters of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia Dr Mathew Opoku-Prempeh, he contends that it is necessary that Nana Addo’s children are involved in the entire process tomorrow.
