NDC, stop propaganda and work- Dr. Bawumia

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has challenged the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) to use the few days left in office to work and stop attacking personalities.

According to Dr. Bawumia, if the Mahama led NDC administration had concentrated on fixing the economy rather than doing propaganda, Ghanaians would not have suffered under its four years rule.

Dr. Bawumia was addressing separate rallies at Savelugu, Diare, Nantong and Kumbungu in the northern region.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, he said, “The management of our economy and the all aspects of our national life in the last four years has really been poor and for me the reason for this is quite obvious; they have spent their time on propaganda and lies rather than on real management.”

Dr. Bawumia stated, “If the NDC government had spent its efforts on managing the economy rather than spewing propaganda and lies, we would have had a better outcome and people’s lives would have been much better”.

The NPP running mate outlined the party’s vision saying, “When elected, a Nana Akufo Addo government would focus on the real concerns of the people including finding decent jobs for the youth and ensuring that the cost of living is made bearable for the ordinary Ghanaian.”

He therefore admonished the people to shift gear by voting massively for the NPP on December 7.

“My message to you is short and simple; on December 7th, please send a loud message to politicians who are specialists in lies and propaganda that they will not be allowed to lead the nation.”

Dr. Bawumia also said the promise to make senior education free is not a mere rhetoric but will become a reality in September 2013.

He paid courtesy calls on traditional rulers every constituency he visited and asked for their blessing.
