I won’t disturb Ghana’s peace - President Mahama promises

President John Mahama on Sunday appealed to his supporters across the country to ignore persons who attempt to fight them especially on the day of elections.

The President re-echoed his commitment to peace ensuring the elections were held in a free fair and peaceful manner, while assuring that he will not do anything to disturb the peace in the country.

Addressing various campaigns at Juaso, Agogo, Kumawu, Mampong, Nsuta and Ejura as part of his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region, the President also called on other political parties to get their supporters to sign on to peace.

He told the electorate to be peace loving particularly on voting day emphasizing, unity must prevail among all, especially after the elections.

He however, warned those who may be planning to disturb the peace of the nation to abort their motives in their own interest, since the security agencies are well prepared to deal with such people.
