Walensi MP is dead
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Walensi, Alhaji Saani Idi has passed away after suffering a short illness.
The MP was on admission at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital where he was receiving treatment for a liver disease, according to Joy FM's parliamentary correspondent Sammy Darko.
He reported that Alhaji Saani was clinically pronounced dead last Friday but passed on Tuesday.
