GFA will clean Black Stars house

Some players could be axed permanently from the Black Stats after their failure to win the Nations Cup, vice-president of the Ghana Football Association Jordan Anagbla has revealed.

Reports of player indiscipline has dominated sections of the Ghanaian media since the Black Stars returned home last Sunday and Anagbla, who was with the Black Stars throughout the duration of the Nations Cup, says there are major issues to deal with going forward.

Anagbla reckons a few players will never pull on the Black Stars shirt again, but that does not include captain John Mensah.

“We would clean the house very well. It is over for some of them. Any coach that will come, I will recommend John Mensah to him. He is the perfect gentleman.”

Anagbla is one of the men who will determine the future of Goran Stevanovic as Black Stars coach next week and has already slammed the Serbian's attitude at the tournament.
