Executive Committee to elect FA Vice President

Having been sworn in at Congress, the Executive Committee will hold its maiden meeting Saturday in Accra to elect from its membership the Vice President of the Ghana Football Association.

The move is in pursuant to Article 29.3 of the GFA Statutes which states that: "At its maiden meeting the Executive Committee shall elect from its membership the Vice President of the FA."

It replaces the previous regulation which stated: "At its maiden meeting the Executive Committee shall elect from its membership the Vice President of the Committee."

The Ex.Co would also compose the Emergency Committee in accordance with Article 48, which shall be presided over by the President of the GFA, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

The Emergency Committee, which takes decisions between meetings of the Executive Committee shall be made up of the President, the Vice President and three (3) other members of the the Ex.Co.
