Accra bourse slumps

Accra, Oct. 1. 30, GNA - The main index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE), the All-Share Index, slumped in trading on Thursday, losing 140.51 points at 6,151.63 points from Wednesday's 6,292.14 points. Change for the year closed the session -41.51 per cent. Traded volumes were a mere 83,479 from 2,235,000 shares on Wednesday. Market capitalisation was poorer at GH¢15,812.74 million from GH¢15,914.09 million. On the broader market, there were three price changes, one up and two down. GOIL gained GH¢0.01 at GH¢0.19; ECOBANK Transnational was GH¢0.01 poorer at GH¢0.19 and SG-SSB lost GH¢0.06 at GH¢0.50.
