Ghana Telecom to rehabilitate Care 4U centres

Wa, May 18, GNA - The management of Ghana Telecommunications Company, (GT) has embarked on a programme to rehabilitate and refurbish 48 Care 4U centres nation-wide to improve customer satisfaction of its services.

It is also implementing a strategic programme to increase capacity, widen coverage and enhance quality of service. Mr Emmanuel Ayettey, Upper West Regional Manager of Ghana Telecom announced this at the celebration of World Telecommunications Day at Wa on Thursday.

It was celebrated under the theme "Ayekoo to all our customers for patronizing Ghana Telecom, a truly Ghanaian company." Mr Ayettey said management had initiated a training programme for its employees to develop a more customer- friendly environment and a customer-focused work force.

He said the company had extended its GSM mobile service to Wa Municipality, Nadowli, Lawra, Hain, Tumu, Nandom and Sawla. Mr Ayettey said the service would soon be extended to Jirapa, Bole, Gwollu, Gaa, Wechiau and Wa South. He assured its customers that it would deal with enquiries, complaints and requests promptly and efficiently and act on feedback from customers.
