Napoleon Kpoh elected Chairman of West Africa IMF

Mr Napoleon Kpoh, General Secretary of the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU), has been elected West Africa Chairman of the International Metal Federation (IMF) at the African Congress and Educational Forum of the Federation at Banone, South Africa.

Sources close to the ICU said Mr Kpoh, was also elected to serve as an executive member of the governing body of the IMF based in Geneva, Switzerland, at congress from November 15 to 25. He would also co-ordinate activities of the Federation in East Africa.

Other members of the Ghana delegation to the congress were Mr Wilson Agana, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Council of Labour, Mr Daniel Bruce-Ghartey and Miss Emelia Boamah, of the ICU.
