A founding member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Amoako Tuffuor has warned that, any party member who for any reason heads straight to court without recourse to the party's internal structures will be dismissed from the party outright.

Speaking in an interview on Kumasi based Angel FM with Kwame Tanko (KT), the Chairman of the party's Disciplinary Committee, Dr. Amoako Tuffour noted that, dragging the party to court without exhausting all the avenues for redress provided by the party is a breach of the party’s constitution and they as a party will not lounge about for an individual to drag the party to the drains, hence, will dismiss the individual from the party without any reservation.

Notwithstanding, he debunked all the antagonistic allegations leveled against the NPP’s parliamentary hopeful for the Bantama Constituency, Daniel Okyem Aboagye, revealing that, he (Okyem Aboagye) is so far, the best rated parliamentary material for the party in the Ashanti region.

He disclosed that, he would stand up and defend him even at the National Council level, because he is convinced beyond doubt that the gentleman is faultless.

However, rating the performance of the Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, the astute politician said, the president and his government have failed, indicating that the most basic necessities of life have become very hard to come by, owing to the government’s abysmal performance on the job.
