Young Africans coach Hans Van der Pluijm is anticipating a tough game against Ghana's Medeama in a CAF Confederation Cup clash on Saturday.

Yanga, the reigning Tanzanian champions, are desperate to get a win and restore some hope after tasting defeats in their last two games.

Medeama themselves are also in a tricky situation having tasted defeat and drawn once in their opening two matches.

And Dutchman Hans van der Pluijm, who coached Medeama in the past, expects a tough battle between the two sides.

“It will be a difficult game, Medeama wants a win because they failed to win against Bejaia in their last game and we want a win as well,” he spoke to Atinka FM.

“My team is aware of how Ghanaians play so we have watched some videos of Medeama and we want to win against them, But it is not going to be easy because Medeama is a strong side.”

The Proudly Colourful are coming off a morale boosting 2-1 win over Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League encounter last weekend.
