The YEA was established under the Youth Employment Act 2015 (Act 887) to empower young people to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic and sustainable development of the nation.

“Let me assure you that our quest to recruit a 100,000 people on the youth employment module is on course. Government is satisfied with progress that we have made. I believe that by the end of June, the Ghanaian people can measure and measure us well in terms of our commitment to recruiting 100,000 people under the module,” he said.
