Veep calls on foot soldiers to intensify campaign

Asuoadei (A/R), 1 Oct.GNA-Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has called on the NDC foot soldiers to intensify their door to door campaign to ensure resounding victory for President Mahama in the December 7 elections.

He urged the supporters to guard against complacency and work tirelessly until victory is achieved.

Vice President Amissah-Arthur was speaking to hundreds of NDC supporter at the campaign launch of the NDC's Parliamentary Candidate for Ahafo- Ano South East Constituency Chris Boadi-Mensah at Asuoadei in the Ahafo-Ano South District of the Ashanti region.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur said NPP's record in office in term of infrastructural development compared to that of the NDC was nothing to write home about.
He urged the NDC supporters to target the floating voters and explain to them the party's developmental and transformational agenda.
He said the President Mahama led government has provided a lot infrastructural developments for the Ashanti region in terms of health facilities, roads, water and education especially the Day Senior High Schools.
Vice President Amissah-Arthur further stated that should President Mahama be given another four year mandate by the people he would continue to do more for the region.
He urged electorates in the area to vote for Mr Chris Boadi-Mensah to become the MP for Ahafo- Ano South East constituency to complement the effort of President Mahama in Parliament to bring development to the community.
Nana Duruya Adarkwah, Chief of Asuoadei commended the government for the many infrastructural projects in the area.

He said most of the promises made by the government to the people in the area in terms of infrastructural projects are being provided while others are ongoing.
He urged Ghanaians conduct themselves in an atmosphere of peace and before and after the elections

Other speakers at the function included Yaw Boateng Gyan, former National Organizer of the NDC, Mr John Alexander Ackon, Ashanti regional Minister, Mr Andy Osei Okrah, Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Mr Yaw Obimpeh Ashanti Regional chairman of the NDC.

Later, Vice President Amissah-Arthur introduced the NDC's Parliamentary Candidate for Ahafo- Ano South East Constituency Mr Chris Boadi-Mensah to the crowd.
