Lawyer for Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has stated that sex allegations by a 22-year-old university student Sarah Kwabla is a deliberate attempt to blackmail the Al Ain striker.

According to Kissi Adjabeng, the purported sex tape which Kwabla claims she will release has only Kwabla dancing in a seductive mood in an attempt to woo Gyan.

“It is an attempt by the girl to blackmail Gyan and I won’t allow that to happen...not when I am his lawyer.

“There is only one person in the video that I have seen; there is no video of Gyan and any other person having sex. The video has one person in a seductive mood, that’s all, Gyan is not in the video and if I was the girl I wouldn’t even release it,” Adjabeng told Fiifi Banson, host of Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.3FM.

Kwabla is threatening to expose the former Sunderland striker for what she said is an existing sex tape between the two.

Kwabla claims she had sex with the Dubai-based player who paid her visits on more than one occasion during which period the videos were recorded.

The said amorous relationship she claims has led to her being pregnant of which she is demanding some privileges from the footballer.

Her lawyer Maurice Ampaw has also claimed that Gyan sodomised Kwabla in the said video.

Kwabla is demanding a house and a maid, a Gh¢4000 monthly stipend in order not to release the video.

But Adjabeng said Kwabla wants to blackmail the Black Stars captain. According to him, Gyan is ready to take care of the girl until a paternity test reveals the owner of the pregnancy.

Adjabeng added a paternity test scheduled to have been conducted on Tuesday, June 23, to ascertain whether or not Gyan is responsible for the pregnancy did not come on.

Though part-payment for the cost of the test had been deposited at the medical facility, Kwabla did not turn up.
