President Mahama’s Shameful Promise To Woyome Exposed

The New Free Press can report exclusively that President John Dramani Mahama has promised the embattled Alfred Agbesi Woyome that he will do all he can to make sure he keeps every pesewa of the 51 million Ghana cedis that was paid to him by the state despite the controversy and outcry from the public. This will only happen as long as he Woyome does what he is told and supports his bid to be President. President Mahama said this according to our source who currently is one of the special aides to Alhaji Baba Kamara, Ghana’s Ambassador to Nigeria and a close friend of the President at a meeting of Greater Accra Regional executives and key campaign aides at a campaign strategy meeting at a house not far from the Maritime Academy at Teshie in Accra.

The New Free Press is very disappointed that President Mahama will seek to assist a man who confessed that he did not have a contract with the Ghanaian government yet was paid 51 million Ghana cedis of taxpayers money ,the blood and sweat of the poor masses who toil day and night to keep our country moving. The masses who have no housing but sleep on pavements in our cities and towns to keep our country on its feet. Our hardworking farmers and fishermen and our general work force; their blood and sweat was what was paid fraudulently to Mr Woyome and our President is happy to protect and ensure he keeps this money.
We have no quarrel with the President as a person but as a leader he has failed to lead from the front. His tribal comments about Northeners having to vote for him not because he fulfilled his promises on the Ya-naa case, the schools under trees or the Buipe sheanut factory or even SADA which has died a natural death but because he is from the north is very shallow and disgraceful. He has even failed to honour his promise on load shedding. Load shedding has now been intensified with no end in sight and with elections fast approaching there are various schools of thought that the President and his allies in his party seek to disrupt and plunge the country in confusion and destruction.

President Mahama must show some respect to the Ghanaian people by making a commitment that Alfred Agbesi woyome must return the 51 million Ghana cedis that was fraudulently paid to him. We call on other leaders of the political parties to make a commitment to the Ghanaian people that Mr Wyome and others who have been paid fraudulent judgement debts will not be allowed to get away with it. We must recover these monies and use it to provide jobs, healthcare facilities and quality schools for our children.
